Job Summary The Market Assistant CFO is responsible for overseeing financial operations ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial management systems and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role provides financial leadership in budgeting forecasting investment management and reimbursement methodologies while supporting executive decisionmaking and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and safeguard hospital investments within established guidelines.
- Oversee the Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting including monthly financial statements annual audits and budgets.
- Establish and maintain financial systems and controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Prepare financial reports that summarize and forecast company business activity including income expenses and earnings.
- Provide strategic guidance on decision support systems and financial planning.
- Plan organize and coordinate financial operations to optimize revenue expenditures and asset management.
- Lead preparations for yearend audits by public accounting firms and thirdparty auditors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations billing procedures and reporting standards.
- Monitor reimbursement methodologies and assess their impact on hospital operations.
- Evaluate and recommend changes to the organizations rate structure in relation to operational costs.
- Oversee staffing activities including hiring onboarding performance evaluation and ongoing training.
- Develop and implement departmental goals in alignment with clinical administrative legal and ethical standards.
- Foster a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Education:
- Required: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Preferred: Masters degree in Accounting Finance or Business
Skills & Certifications:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
- Ability to work independently in a highpressure environment.
- CPA certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in forprofit hospital finance with at least three years in a supervisory role.
