Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is in charge of identifying new distributors in the assigned Northeastern territory build a relationship with them and help convert quotes into sales by being a trusted consultative partner. Our technology is great our lead times are competitive and our commission plan is uncapped!

You just need to bring your hunter mentality knowledge of how to win over material handling distributors and a technical aptitude for semiautomated storage solutions. This role directly reports to the VP of Sales & Engineering.

Products: From conventional racking to automated racking solutions such as atlas 1D mobile racking and highbay storage.

Customers: We partner with leading distributors throughout the United States and Canada to serve end users in a variety of industries including 3PL Food & Beverage (our shuttles even do great in cold storage! and all types of industrial storage.

Qualifications :

This lets us know youre up for the job

  • 5 years of sales experience within the material handling industry is required
  • Experience in establishing a distributor network is preferred but not required; if youre working for a distributor and have experience selling racking this could be your opportunity to step into the manufacturers side of the business!
  • Technical aptitude
  • Hunter and Farmer mindset; good (or great! at establishing new relationships and moving the sales cycle to a close
  • Willingness to travel within the territory 3550 and possibly to Europe for training down the road
  • Youre someone who takes ownership is handson and ambitious
  • Ability to communicate with clients at various levels of an organization (internal stakeholders customers as well as vendors)
  • While we have a lot of Engineering and Sales competencies based in Chicago we also work with European colleagues. Hence morning hours are most important so we can connect with them while our business hours overlap across time zones. Early birds get the worm as the saying goes.
