Job Description
The Weatherization Crew Member Level 2 will be responsible for safely working in homes and/or construction sites of lowincome Vermonters. This can involve the usual hazards of construction including but not limited to entering small spaces (attics crawl spaces knee walls) being on ladders or scaffolding using power tools etc. Ensure safe work environment for self fellow crew members and clients through safe work practices. Install energysaving measures including installing lights fans humidistats and other basic electrical devices; improving heating distribution systems ventilation and indoor air quality; and make minor rehabilitation and repair work as needed to ensure effectiveness of weatherization measures. Willingness to fill the role of Crew Lead if absence or vacancy requires.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of experience as a Crew Member Level 1 is required or equivalent related work experience. Be current with all training and certification required for Apprentice/ Crew Member Level 1 and possess Mastery of the State of Vermont Weatherization Technical Manual. Have an understanding of building construction and materials and principles of energy efficient retrofits and of building systems and codes. Must have a valid drivers license clean driving record access to reliable transportation and willingness and ability to travel within the CVOEO service area.
