Position Overview
The role of a Web Designer and Project Lead is to manage website projects from inception to completion. This role combines creative web design expertise with project management capabilities ensuring delivery of highquality websites that meet the client expectations. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the preparation of reports deliver presentations and communicate effectively with stakeholders. A deep understanding of key factors that contribute to a successful website such as accessibility user interface(UI) search engine optimization (SEO) visitor tracking and web hosting is essential.
The role of a Web Developer & Client Support is to design develop and maintain innovative web solutions that meet client needs while ensuring optimal performance. They will be providing client training technical support and ongoing maintenance to guarantee smooth operation and user satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities
Project Management
Plan organize and oversee the entire lifecycle of website projects ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Break down project requirements into tasks and subtasks assign responsibilities and monitor progress using project management tools (e.g. Asana Trello).
Develop and maintain project documentation including timelines deliverables and resource allocation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the project timeline and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth .
Web Design and Development Oversight
Conceptualize userfriendly and visually appealing website designs that align with client branding and business goals.
Ensure websites are responsive across devices (mobile tablet desktop) and optimized for performance.
Collaborate with developers to implement design elements effectively while maintaining design standards.
Conduct quality assurance checks to verify functionality usability and adherence to accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG compliance).
Oversee the integration of multimedia elements such as images videos and plugins to enhance user experience.
SEO and Website Optimization
Incorporate SEO best practices into website design to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
Optimize website speed performance and usability to ensure a seamless user experience.
Implement website visitor tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to monitor traffic patterns and user behavior.
Client Interaction and Presentations
Consult with clients to understand their requirements objectives and desired functionalities for the website.
Prepare professional presentations to showcase design concepts prototypes or completed projects to clients or stakeholders.
Defend design decisions during client meetings by providing clear rationale based on best practices and project goals.
Provide regular progress updates through written reports or presentations to keep stakeholders informed.
Team Leadership
Lead crossfunctional teams comprising designers developers content creators and marketing personnel to achieve project objectives.
Provide mentorship to junior team members by sharing expertise in web design principles and project management techniques.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity while ensuring alignment with project goals.
Security & Compliance
Implement best practices for website security including SSL certificates firewalls and secure payment gateways.
Ensure that websites comply with relevant data protection and privacy laws.
Regularly monitor for potential security vulnerabilities and address any risks proactively.
Stay informed about the latest trends and threats in web security to safeguard clients websites.
Trend Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on emerging trends in web design development technologies SEO practices accessibility standards and CMS tools.
Recommend improvements or new technologies that can enhance the quality or efficiency of website projects.
Conduct postproject evaluations to identify lessons learned and refine processes for future projects.
Miscellaneous Duties
Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by the supervisor or management that align with the employee s skills qualifications and the overall purpose of the role.
Adapt to additional responsibilities or projects that support the company s objectives provided they are consistent with the scope of the employees position and employment contract.

Experience Profile
Bachelors degree in IT or related field.
23 years of proven experience in web design and project management roles.
Strong expertise in creating visually appealing designs with a focus on usability and user experience (UX).
Demonstrated ability to integrate SEO best practices into web design projects.
Familiarity with CMS platforms and website visitor tracking tools.
Experience in preparing professional reports presentations and other project documentation.
Track record of delivering successful website projects that align with client goals.
