Position Summary:
RMU seeks a collaborative datadriven strategic Director of Demand Generation Marketing to lead and execute innovative marketing initiatives that drive prospective student engagement and enrollment. This role will develop and optimize multichannel marketing campaigns to attract highquality applicants to RMUs graduate programs.
The ideal candidate has expertise in performance marketing lead nurturing digital advertising and marketing automation to create a seamless and compelling prospective student journey. This role will work closely with University academic program directors and enrollment management to align marketing efforts with institutional goals. This is an exciting opportunity to be directly responsible for the enrollment growth of RMUs 24 graduate degree programs and 18 certificateseach with a unique target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing
- In collaboration with academic program directors and enrollment management leadership create comprehensive marketing plans for each educational program to drive enrollments.
- Oversee and optimize digital leadgeneration initiatives including digital advertising to maximize student acquisition across all graduate programs.
- Work closely with the enrollment management team to develop positioning content and messaging for outreach initiatives including automated CRMdriven communication to prospective students and applicants to manage lead flows and optimize conversion rates.
- Develop and implement datadriven marketing strategies to generate and nurture prospective student leads.
- Oversee multichannel campaigns including paid search social media SEO email marketing content marketing and retargeting.
Digital & Paid Media Strategy
- Lead the creation and of the Universitys comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness engage prospective students and drive enrollment.
- Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads LinkedIn Meta YouTube TikTok) to drive qualified leads.
- Manage and expand the Universitys digital presence across various platforms including social media program websites and thirdparty platforms to engage with prospective students meaningfully.
- Collaborate with the web and UX/UI teams to enhance website conversion rates including A/B testing and landing page optimization.
- Oversee SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility for RMUs graduate programs.
Content & Thought Leadership Marketing
- Partner with faculty alums and current students to develop compelling content (podcasts videos testimonials) highlighting RMUs unique value.
- Work closely with the content team to ensure all digital content (website social media email campaigns etc. is consistent engaging and optimized for prospective students and search engines.
- Create key marketing messages/campaigns for the student enrollment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with enrollment management to engage prospective students through virtual and inperson events to build relationships with prospects including information sessions Q&A sessions and conferences.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Establish and monitor KPIs dashboards and reports to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Use analytics tools to identify trends optimize marketing spend and improve lead quality.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to refine RMUs positioning and messaging.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with enrollment and academic leaders to align marketing strategies with enrollment goals and University strategic priorities.
- Manage relationships with agencies and vendors for paid media SEO and creative development.
- Lead and mentor marketing team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee vendor relationships contract negotiations and performance to ensure highquality service and costeffectiveness.
- Develop and manage the digital marketing budget allocating resources efficiently to meet acquisition and brand goals.
Background/Expertise:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field. Preferred: Masters degree in Marketing Business or a related field
- A minimum of six 6 years of experience in demand generation digital marketing or enrollment marketing;
- A minimum of three 3 years of experience in higher education. Higher education marketing for graduate student recruitment is preferred.
- Handson expertise in various marketing techniques. Including digital advertising SEO/SEM content marketing and email marketing.
- Proven ability to execute multichannel campaigns that drive lead generation and conversions.
- Experience managing paid media budgets and optimizing digital advertising performance.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics CRMs or similar reporting tools.
