Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist
Grade: Consultant
Location: Colchester Essex
Working Hours: 40 hours

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join a leading healthcare provider in Colchester Essex. This is a shortterm contract position with an immediate start and offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be
As a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing assessing managing and preventing mental health disorders in adults. You will provide expert consultation to primary care providers and behavioral health care managers guiding them on appropriate medications and treatment strategies. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular case reviews often through telephone or video consultations to ensure patients are progressing as expected. You will oversee the status and health of your assigned patient caseload using clinical management systems to track and prioritize patients for review and treatment adjustments. Additionally you will recommend treatment modifications including medication changes and other interventions and provide support for patients requiring more specialized mental health care.
