About the Role:
Join the JavaSlang Integration (JSI) team as a Java/Scala Developer. This position is crucial within a global group of Java/polyglot developers responsible for the runtime of a proprietary build pipeline that supports the build test and deploy processes of some of the most critical business applications. The platform and its surrounding toolchain facilitate the production of binaries that integrate a proprietary front office language with the JVM ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance core SDLC platforms to improve throughput latency scalability and resiliency.
- Collaborate with a team of highcaliber engineers to adopt new ideas and technologies.
- Manage library dependencies and upgrades particularly for Python components.
- Contribute to the upgrade of core modules and assist in debugging and accelerating application development.
- Engage in potential IDE improvements and UI/UX enhancements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years handson experience in Java/Scala development.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Passionate about software development and eager to work on complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with build systems like Maven Ant Gradle or Bazel.
- Familiarity with distributed and centralized software change management systems.
- Experience in architecting horizontally scalable systems and knowledge of elastic compute.
- Proficiency in DevOps SRE and Linux.
- Python knowledge is beneficial.
