A motivated and passionate Food Technology Teacher is needed for a wellrespected secondary school in Swindon. Your Role as Food Technology Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 with potential for KS5 for the right candidate.
- Teach a wide range of foodrelated topics including nutrition food science product design and cooking techniques.
- Encourage students to develop practical culinary skills while also considering health sustainability and ethical practices in food production.
- Support students in preparing for exams and coursework offering targeted support where needed.
- Contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum to ensure it is innovative and relevant.
Who Were Looking For:
- A qualified Food Technology Teacher with a passion for food education.
- Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in food science and culinary arts.
- The ability to inspire and engage students in both the creative and technical aspects of Food Technology.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
