Food Technology Teacher WellRespected Secondary School Swindon ASAP Start

Location: Swindon
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS

A motivated and passionate Food Technology Teacher is needed for a wellrespected secondary school in Swindon. Your Role as Food Technology Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 with potential for KS5 for the right candidate.
  • Teach a wide range of foodrelated topics including nutrition food science product design and cooking techniques.
  • Encourage students to develop practical culinary skills while also considering health sustainability and ethical practices in food production.
  • Support students in preparing for exams and coursework offering targeted support where needed.
  • Contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum to ensure it is innovative and relevant.

Who Were Looking For:

  • A qualified Food Technology Teacher with a passion for food education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in food science and culinary arts.
  • The ability to inspire and engage students in both the creative and technical aspects of Food Technology.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
  • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
