English ECT Fulltime Permanent (September 2025 Start)

A welcoming Mixed Comprehensive School in Richmond is seeking an enthusiastic English ECT to join our dynamic English department. We are looking for an individual passionate about literature and language.

About Our Learning Community:

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans covering literature language and creative writing.
  • Facilitate studentled discussions and debates.
  • Assess student progress through essays presentations and examinations.
  • Collaborate with experienced English teachers and mentors to enhance your teaching practice.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
  • Passion for literature and language.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow as an English educator.
