Food Technology Teacher Outstanding Secondary School Gloucester September Start

Location: Gloucester
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS

Your Role as Food Technology Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 and potentially KS5 for the right candidate.
  • Inspire students to understand and appreciate the importance of food nutrition and sustainability in the modern world.
  • Support students in developing practical culinary skills as well as an understanding of food science nutrition and cultural influences.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and expand the Food Technology curriculum incorporating modern trends and practices in food education.
  • Encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities including foodrelated competitions projects and community outreach programs.

Who Were Looking For:

  • A qualified Food Technology Teacher with a passion for food education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in food science nutrition and the culinary arts.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching with the ability to inspire students to engage with the subject.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
