Your Role as Food Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 and potentially KS5 for the right candidate.
- Inspire students to understand and appreciate the importance of food nutrition and sustainability in the modern world.
- Support students in developing practical culinary skills as well as an understanding of food science nutrition and cultural influences.
- Work closely with the team to develop and expand the Food Technology curriculum incorporating modern trends and practices in food education.
- Encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities including foodrelated competitions projects and community outreach programs.
Who Were Looking For:
- A qualified Food Technology Teacher with a passion for food education.
- Strong subject knowledge in food science nutrition and the culinary arts.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching with the ability to inspire students to engage with the subject.
