This is a fulltime night shift role aligned with US hours (PST) as youll be collaborating closely with our international teams.

About the Role/Specialty

Were looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to help scale and improve our accounting operations. Youll be handson in managing key accounting processes supporting financial close and driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement.

This role is a great fit if you thrive in a fastpaced environment enjoy problemsolving and love finding smarter ways to work. Youll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy strengthening compliance and introducing automation to streamline accounting processes.

What youll do (responsibilities)

• Own key accounting processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and global standards.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
• Introduce automation AI and new technology to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Drive process improvements to make financial operations faster smoother and more scalable.
• Partner with teams across Canva to simplify financial processes provide insights that drive better decisionmaking and elevate financial understanding across the company.
• Support audits and regulatory requirements working closely with external auditors and internal teams.
• Provide realtime support and collaboration with USbased teams ensuring seamless accounting close processes across different time zones

Were after a strategic handson Senior Corporate Accountant who thrives in fastpaced environments and loves building scalable financial processes. Youre a problem solver who embraces change enjoys working crossfunctionally and is passionate about making complex things simple.

Youll be successful in this role if you have:

• Bring 58 years of experience in regional/global financial corporate accounting financial reporting and operational financeideally in a highgrowth or public company.
• Strong understanding of GAAP SOX compliance and internal control. CPA experience is a plus!
• A problemsolving mindsetyou thrive in fastpaced environments and enjoy optimizing processes.
• Excellent communication skillsyou can simplify complex financial concepts for nonfinancial teams.
• A passion for automation technology and improving workflows.
• Experience working with ERP systems (bonus points for NetSuite!.
• Are open to working night shifts Tuesday Saturday 1:00AM 10:00AM PH time to support our global operations.
