- Lead and supervise postprocessing tasks including putty application sanding and advanced surface preparation of studio decorative panels furniture tables and components made from metal wood and composite materials.
- Ensure precision and consistency in paint and varnish application to maintain industryleading quality standards for studio furniture decorative panels and studio equipment.
- Develop and oversee inventory control strategies for solvents putty materials paints varnishes and other consumables to ensure uninterrupted production
- Manage the formulation and preparation of pigment and paint lists based on stock levels and projectspecific design requirements
- Lead color sampling processes including sourcing preparation and refinement of sample colors for project approvals.
- Establish and enforce painting and finishing quality control procedures to ensure adherence to project specifications and durability requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior painters and production staff to uphold consistency in application techniques and finishing processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and introduce best practices to enhance efficiency and quality
- Oversee and coordinate painting schedules to align with broader studio production deadlines.
- Provide mentorship and technical training to junior painters fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Perform other strategic duties as assigned by management that align with the roles expertise and qualifications.
Qualifications :

- Secondary education
- Professional working proficiency in Georgian and limited working proficiency in English
- Ability to maintain highquality finishing standards with precision
- Ensuring smooth and even paint applications Identifying defects and performing necessary touchups
- Expertise in colour mixing and international colourmatching systems
- Ability to accurately follow management instructions and assigned tasks
- Ability to lead painting teams and supervise junior painters
- Ability to troubleshoot painting defects and implement solutions
- At least 5 years of experience as an industriallevel painter in automotive or furniture manufacturing
