Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BodyinWhite (BIW) Automation Project Manager to oversee and manage two parallel automation projects in Zaragoza within our customer automotive manufacturing plant. The initial phase will involve working in the Back Office / Home Office in Slovakia until approximately October followed by a transition to the Front Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Duration: Minimum 1.5 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage BIW automation projects from conception to completion.
- Coordination: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including design engineering and production to ensure seamless project .
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support for the design and implementation of automation systems.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets ensuring costeffective solutions.
- Timeline Management: Create and maintain project schedules ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all automation systems meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to procure necessary equipment and materials.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Automation Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the automotive industry specifically in BIW automation.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of automation systems including Rockwell PLCs and xOV Standard. Proficiency in English is mandatory; Spanish is a plus.
- Competencies: Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
