Job Description
Job Title: Music Teacher
Reports to: School Principal/Music Department Head
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Music Teacher to join our schools music department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music theory history and performance to students of various ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students of different ages and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement curriculum aligned with school and national standards.
3. Conduct rehearsals and performances with school music ensembles (e.g. choir band orchestra).
4. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music with other subjects.
6. Maintain a safe and organized music classroom environment.
7. Participate in school events concerts and festivals.
Requirements

Requirements:
1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Music Education or related field.
2. Teaching certification or license (if applicable).
3. Proven teaching experience (preferably in a school setting).
4. Strong musical knowledge and performance skills.
5. Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work with diverse student populations.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience with music technology and software.
2. Familiarity with various music genres and styles.
3. Ability to play multiple musical instruments.
