Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of security guards ensuring their compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate shifts to ensure adequate coverage at all times including nights weekends and holidays.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the distribution center gatehouse verifying credentials conducting vehicle searches and ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all securityrelated activities including incident reports vehicle logs and visitor logs.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security measures are in place and report any breaches or concerns to the management.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any security incidents or emergencies promptly and appropriately.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication and coordination of security activities.
- Provide training and guidance to security personnel fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Stay updated on security industry trends and best practices implementing necessary changes to enhance security protocols.

Requirements
- Valid Security Guard License issued by the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
- Minimum of 3 years of Security Supervisor experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of Security Guard experience preferably in a hospitality or hotel environment is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure exercising sound judgment in challenging situations.
- Physically fit and able to stand walk and patrol for extended periods.
