Job Description

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Remediation team in our Conshohocken Pennsylvania office. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering remediation consulting services to our key clients. We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong business development skills to drive growth and expand our market presence.

The successful candidate will assume leadership roles on projects and within the department and will develop strong relationships with the team and with clients to enable the pursuit of new opportunities.  The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team clients site personnel and office management and work both independently and as a part of a project team.

The successful candidate will be committed to the teams success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; will manage the technical cost and schedule elements of project delivery; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.

The job responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
  • Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless of projects.
  • Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
  • Consistently completes project without writedowns or multiplier erosion.
  • Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
  • Manages more complex clients and projects.
  • Has decisionmaking authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
  • Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
  • Use scientific principles theories practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems within a defined scope.
  • Plan execute analyze and report on environmental investigations in natural systems.
  • Prepare technical sciencebased work plans data summaries and reports.
  • Interpret and record data conduct analyses compare findings to relevant studies and local state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Apply knowledge of natural sciences (chemistry physics biology hydrology and mathematics) to explain observations

Qualifications :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Geology Engineering Environmental Science or related field  6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid U.S Drivers License and as a condition of employment must pass AECOMs Motor Vehicle Records Review.
  • As a condition of employment candidates will be required to pass a drug screen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree in Geology Engineering or related degree.
  • Professional Geologist or Engineer
  • 7 years of relevant experience at an engineering consulting firm.
  • OSHA 40hour HAZWOPER training certification.
  • Sellerdoer with business development and client management experience.
  • Experience as a project manager and technical lead on remedial investigations feasibility studies remedial design and remedial action oversight.
  • Experience delivering remedial projects within the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection framework.
  • Strong understanding of remediation system design cost estimating construction and OM&M.
  • Experience with the breadth of federal and local environmental laws such as CERCLA RCRA TSCA etc.
  • Remedial/Site investigation remediation planning or design experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills (including polished client presentation skills) organization time management and an individual who thrives in a teamoriented environment.
  • Cost estimating and basic fate and transport modeling.
  • Project Management Professional certification
