Our Mumbai office is continuing to grow and as we undertake new projects with some of Asias most prestigious and wellrespected architecture firms and clients we are seeking an experienced Faade Engineer to work with our Mumbai team. This role will see you carrying out design engineering project management and business development whilst allowing you to share your knowledge and learn from others within the business. About the Role
The role includes:
- Carrying out design engineering for faade steel and RC structures
- Project management and administration
- Reviewing contractor shop drawings and calculations
- Attending inspections during construction installation and fabrication on concrete and steel structures
- Attending meetings with architects to provide engineering input to the design
- Communicating with design team and manager as well as working autonomously.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Ideally 3 years experience working in engineering in the construction industry
- Familiarity with faade systems faade design and materials manufacture a distinct advantage
- High proficiency in ACAD Word Excel and Outlook
- Experience in various structural engineering software packages
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis Software (Staad Pro Strand 7 SAP2000 etc.
- Excellent written and spoken English
Highly Regarded Skills & Attributes
The following will be considered advantageous for the application:
- Knowledge of 3D design software (Rhino CATIA etc.
- Knowledge of 3D geometrical analysis (Grasshopper Excel etc.
- Knowledge of graphical software (Photoshop InDesign etc.
