Job Description

Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for an Inventory and Receiving Supervisor for our Sacramento CA facility. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory associates fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure product delivered meets purchase order requirements and quality standards
  • Complete daily stock counts and full physical inventory counts as required
  • Evaluate demand vs stocking levels daily to ensure proper inventory availability
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor utilizing a handson approach to communicate and solve problems effectively
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet delivery targets
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
  • Coach and develop team members through regular performance feedback and training
  • Review and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Drive process improvements through team engagement and innovative problemsolving
  • Ensure product quality through standardized work procedures and quality control measure
  • Maintain our powered industrial vehicle fleet and ensure staff meet all training requirements

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 35 years of progressive supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in team development and motivation
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in inventory management and quality control processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical acumen including MS Office Suite
  • Experience with performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocol especially with forklift management
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in production scheduling software
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual ability a plus (Spanish)
  • Experience in glass manufacturing a plus

The US base salary for this role is $80K $90K STIP (short term incentive plan) medical dental vision benefits starting day 1 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Fulltime is defined as regularly working 30 hours per week.
