Job Title: Senior Financial Controller
Location: Celbridge Co. Kildare

We are seeking a highly experienced and detailoriented Senior Financial Controller to join the leadership team and drive financial excellence.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Financial Controller you will oversee the financial management of the business ensuring strong financial control reporting and strategic planning. You will work closely with senior management to support decisionmaking optimise profitability and maintain financial stability. This role requires a handson approach as well as the ability to provide highlevel financial insight to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations tax obligations and statutory requirements.
- Manage cash flow banking relationships and financial risk management.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
- Oversee payroll accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Lead and mentor finance staff ensuring strong internal controls and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and financial performance of ongoing projects.
- Liaise with external auditors accountants and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent).
- 35 years experience in a senior financial role preferably in the construction landscaping or design industry.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting financial planning and risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with projectbased accounting and cost management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
