The Equipment Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering and picking up rented equipment. You will instruct the customer on the proper operation of the equipment have all contracts signed record any equipment conditions you encounter pick up equipment when the customer is done and perform basic maintenance on the equipment. Additionally you are responsible for the proper care maintenance and cleaning of the delivery truck and trailer.
In this role you will be passionate about working with other employees customers vendors and community members. You will coordinate with the Shop Manager to ensure high efficiency and accuracy within the shop yard and equipment delivery and pick up. You will assist the Shop Manager in ensuring all required tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily equipment deliveries and pickups
- General preventive maintenance of equipment
- Coordinate with the Shop Manager to ensure a high level of efficiency and accuracy in the work being completed.
- Lead by example in the safe approach to your work
- Load/Unload customers as needed
- Complete all required documentation for a high level of customer service
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing instructions on equipment operation
- Ensure the delivery truck and trailer are clean and organized
- Other duties or tasks as required by management
SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A valid Ohio drivers license and a clean driving record are required. Must be insurable by the companys insurer
- Mechanical inclination and the ability to learn the proper operation of various equipment are required. Experience in operating equipment is beneficial.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Most work will be done outdoors and require driving entering/exiting a truck boarding/exiting equipment climbing on/off a trailer and working in the rental yard customers homes and worksite areas.
- May have exposure to chemicals including but not limited to gasoline diesel fuel propane kerosene and cleaning solvents
