Job Description

Job Title: Intensive Case Manager (ICM) Supervisor

Location: Southgate MI

Shift Type: Days

Shift Schedule: Monday Thursday 8:30 AM 7:00 PM; Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM 1:00 PM (Flexible scheduling available)

Hourly Salary Range: $35.60 $47.92 (dependent on years of experience)

Role Overview:

The ICM Supervisor will oversee the delivery of intensive case management and hospital liaison services for adults with significant psychiatric needs including those at risk for psychiatric readmission courtordered treatment or those deemed Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI). This role requires strong leadership clinical expertise and the ability to work in a collaborative patientcentered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Intensive Case Management (ICM) team providing services to adults with severe mental health needs.
  • Oversee hospital liaison services for clients admitted to inpatient psychiatric facilities.
  • Monitor and support clients under courtmandated Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT).
  • Develop and implement case management strategies to prevent psychiatric readmissions and improve patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate with community partners medical professionals and family members to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations agency policies and best clinical practices.
  • Provide crisis intervention triage and assessment services for clients in need.
  • Maintain detailed case documentation reports and treatment plans.
  • Offer staff training and mentorship to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the ICM team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:Masters Degree in Social Work Psychology or Counseling (required).
  • LMSW LLP or LPC licensure in the State of Michigan (required full licenses only).
  • Experience:3 years of experience working with adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders (required).
  • Experience in community mental health settings and knowledge of community resources (preferred).
  • Certifications & Licensure:Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation at the time of hire.
  • Must obtain Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire.
  • Must have CAADC credential or be actively registered on an approved MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
  • Skills & Competencies:Strong clinical assessment triage and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients families agency staff and community partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Culturally competent approach with sensitivity to diverse populations.
  • Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team leader.
