Test Technician - Fort Walton Beach

The Test Technician in Fort Walton Beach FL will be responsible for building testing troubleshooting and performing services and repairs on electronic assemblies subassemblies or systems. This role requires a US Citizen or Green Card holder to work effectively within a team to ensure timely shipments while diagnosing test failures and implementing corrective actions.

Skills

• Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and multimeters
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies to the component level
• Strong understanding of reading and interpreting assembly drawings schematics and work instructions

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies
• Work closely with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments
• Diagnose test failures and coordinate corrective actions
• Calibrate electronic test equipment and ensure all equipment is in working order
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines
• Manage time effectively to meet production schedules and budget
• Provide accurate and timely status updates on production and returns
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop test procedures and policies
• Train mentor and lead junior technicians
• Assist Engineering personnel in developing tests for new products

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a test technician
• Advanced experience with MS Office suite
• Knowledge of digital and RF electronics circuit functionality and troubleshooting
• Successful completion of electronic technician training is a plus

Education Requirements

• Associates degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent is preferred

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in test technician roles
