The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing staff maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry with experience in food production management and customer relations.
Duties
- Oversee all daily operations of the establishment to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Manage staff recruitment training and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement and maintain high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and production.
- Develop and manage budgets forecasts and financial reports to monitor business performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers for inventory management and food production needs.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain positive relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote services and increase business visibility.
This job requires a minimum of 2 years experience as a Restaurant General Manager.
- Strong customer service skills to address guest needs effectively and enhance their experience.
- Proficient in interviewing techniques for effective staff recruitment.
- Knowledge of food production processes to ensure quality control.
