We are seeking an exceptional Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated Computing department.
About the Role:
As a Computer Science Teacher at our school you will have the opportunity to teach Computer Science across Key Stages 35 inspiring students with engaging lessons and cuttingedge technology. You will play a key role in shaping the future of young minds and equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the digital age.
What youll do as a Computer Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Computer Science concepts and develop their computational thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Computer Science providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and departmental resources.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Computer Science and integrate new technologies into the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Computer Science teaching.
What youll need to be a successful Computer Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Computer Science.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- A passion for Computer Science and a commitment to inspiring students.
