Science Teacher Fulltime Permanent (April 2025 Start)
Location: Rutland
Salary: Paid to scale on MPS / UPS

Key Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 covering subjects such as biology chemistry and physics.
- Foster students scientific curiosity through handson experiments and thoughtprovoking discussions.
- Prepare students for their GCSEs ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to succeed.
- Collaborate with other Science Teachers to enhance the science curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities such as science fairs or enrichment clubs to further promote the subject.
The Ideal Candidate for Science Teacher:
- A degree in Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or equivalent.
- Passion for teaching Science and inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of the subject.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students alike.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
