Job Description

Floor Supervisor

This position is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas on assigned floors. This role ensures that all housekeeping team members adhere to the hotels standards of excellence providing guests with a clean comfortable and welcoming environment.

  • Supervise and support the housekeeping team including room attendants.
  • Conduct daily briefings and allocate tasks to staff.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff on cleaning techniques safety procedures and company standards.
  • Inspect guest rooms corridors and public areas to ensure they meet the hotels cleanliness standards.
  • Address any deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Conduct random spot checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies linens and guest amenities.
  • Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning supplies.
  • Order supplies as needed and keep accurate records.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping services.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by providing highquality service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain records of staff attendance performance and any incidents.
  • Ensure all housekeeping team members follow health and safety regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the maintenance department.
  • Work closely with other departments such as maintenance and front office to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitalityrelated certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • Supervisory and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
