Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Greensboro NC
Salary: $20/hour
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment. You will ensure that all systems function efficiently and promptly address any maintenance issues to provide a safe and comfortable working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform minor repairs to plumbing electrical systems and HVAC as needed.
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance requests actions taken and followup procedures.
- Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing maintenance duties.
- Collaborate with the team to implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Support property management in maintaining a safe and attractive environment for tenants and visitors.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing building systems.
- Knowledge of basic HVAC plumbing and electrical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
