Job Description
Embark on a culinary adventure where your creative flair and passion will elevate an entire experience for our guests. This role will help lead our culinary team and curate exquisite menus all while bringing a special touch to each interaction leaving a lasting impression on our guests and team members.
- Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and resort requirements.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended properly and safely.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental/resort policies and procedures other information pertinent to the job performance.
- Meet with Banquet Chef to review assignments anticipate business levels changes and other
- information pertinent to the job performance.
- Ensure cleanliness and working condition of all tools
- Understand your ingredients and utilize them properly in order to minimize waste and maintain controls.
- Organize and maintain production via prep lists and/or production lists as formulated by Banquet Chef as well as Station Cooks.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate in English with coworkers guests and management to their understanding.
- Ability to work well under the pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines for guests food orders.
- Ability to transport cases of received goods to the work station; pots and pans of food from storage/prep areas to the serving line.
The starting pay rate for this position is $22.50 per hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors such as experience and education.
This is an on call position.
Qualifications :
2year cook experience; culinary education preferred.
Prior experience in a luxury environment is a plus.
