Job Purpose
The hiring of an Assistant Accountant is essential to support the finance department in bookkeeping financial reporting and compliance. This role will assist in managing accounts payable (AP) accounts receivable (AR) reconciliations and financial documentation to ensure smooth financial operations.
Duties and Responsibilities (Generic) of the position
- Identify and resolve customer deposit discrepancies caused by conversion rate issues in NetSuite.
- Prepare customer deposit in NetSuite on daily basis.
- Assist seniors in expediting the accounts receivables process to ensure timely collections and recording.
- Apply customer deposits to relevant open customer invoices accurately.
- Generate invoices from Sales Orders (SOs) to ensure proper application of customer deposits in NetSuite.
- Reconcile All account Receivable at the end of every month and report to Team InCharge.
- Maintain the LTO (LeasetoOwn) Milele Car Rental spreadsheet.
- Making entries in the Speed Auto System for LTO and reconciling the balance with the Excel.
- Manage the LTO Receivable ledgers and ensure proper tracking of outstanding amounts.
- Making a record of all cheques presented and trace whether these cheques are cleared or not if cheques are not cleared then coordinate with the operation and recovery team to act.
- Take all necessary actions and give financial data to the recovery team.
- Audit all close agreements in Speed auto system and consult with operation team if there any discrepancy found.
- Make invoices in Speed Auto System for rental Salik and fines. Reconcile receivable balance and inform the recovery team for speedy recovery.
- Assist in reconciling customer discrepancy accounts for Milele Car Rentals.
