About the Science Department: The Science Department boasts a team of experienced and passionate Science Teacher professionals who work closely to create engaging innovative lessons. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to the development of the curriculum and share their expertise.
Science Teacher Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across KS3/4 with the possibility of ALevel.
- Plan and deliver engaging effective lessons that stimulate student interest in Science.
- Assess track and report on student progress.
- Support the continued development and evolution of the Science curriculum.
Science Teacher Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant degree (Sciencerelated preferred).
- PGCE or QTS.
- Experience in teaching Science at secondary school level (including PGCE placements).
- ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply.
