About the Science Department: The Science Department is a dedicated team of Science Teachers committed to inspiring students. Teachers within the department collaborate to design engaging lessons that foster a love for learning and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.
Science Teacher Role Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of ALevel teaching in the future.
- Plan deliver and assess Science lessons that are both engaging and effective.
- Support the school in fostering a positive inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the Science curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Required Science Teacher Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant degree (Science or related field preferred).
- PGCE or QTS.
- Prior experience teaching Science at the secondary level (including PGCE placements).
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.

- Competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale depending on experience.
