Your Role as SENCO:
- Lead and coordinate SEN provision ensuring students receive highquality support.
- Oversee EHCPs (Education Health and Care Plans) and liaise with external agencies.
- Support and train classroom teachers in delivering inclusive lessons.
- Work with parents carers and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
Who Were Looking For:
- A qualified SENCO (or a teacher willing to complete the NASENCO qualification).
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing SEN provision in a secondary setting.
- Knowledge of SEND legislation EHCP processes and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
