About the Chemistry Teacher Role

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Chemistry Teacher to join our dedicated Science department. The successful Chemistry Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Chemistry across Key Stages 35 inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for scientific inquiry.

Key Responsibilities of the Chemistry Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver highquality Chemistry lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Chemistry concepts and develop their scientific skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Chemistry providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Chemistry curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Chemistry and incorporate new technologies into the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Chemistry teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Chemistry.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for Chemistry and a commitment to inspiring students.
