Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulics pneumatics and plumbing along with expertise in mechanical systems welding and cutting techniques. This role requires someone with a handson approach who can effectively troubleshoot repair and maintain equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pneumatic and plumbing systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform mechanical repairs including welding cutting and fabrication.
  • Read and interpret mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Utilize multimeters to work with 24V 120V 240V and 480V electrical systems safely and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout (LOTO) fall protection PPE and confined space safety regulations.
  • Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and work order system.
  • Work with automation and control systems; experience in this area is a plus.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support production needs and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Train and mentor maintenance team members providing technical guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree or certificate in industrial maintenance or 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in mechanical repairs welding and cutting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
  • Experience working with multimeters and troubleshooting 24V 120V 240V and 480V systems.
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) fall protection PPE and confined space training.
  • Basic computer skills for CMMS and work order systems.
  • Experience with automation and controls is a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving skills ability to work independently and leadership experience in a maintenance setting.
