Job Description
We are seeking a permanent fulltime Associate Nurse Unit Manager for our Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout Team located at Epworth Geelong Waurn Ponds.
As an ANUM you will be responsible for providing team leadership guidance and support to ensure effective management and ongoing development of our perioperative team. You will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and be part of our theatre leadership team. You will join a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that strives to achieve outstanding outcomes every day. Our perioperative environment consists of 9 Operating Theatres and prides itself on providing excellent service and care for our patients and doctors.

To be successful in the role you will have:
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
- Be passionate about leading through developing and guiding others
- Extensive orthopaedic scrub / scout experience
- Flexibility and excellent organisation and communication skills
- Committed to learning and developing current clinical practice
- Welldeveloped understanding of relevant professional standards
- Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative nursing or working towards.
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA

Our Perioperative environment consists of 9 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre Cath Lab and 2 endoscopy suites.Located all on the one level we have the Operating Theatre Cath Lab ICU and Day Surgery allowing excellent patient flow and best patient care. As there is an increased demand for the excellence Epworth Geelong provide to its patients and VMOs our operating theatres are continuing to expand. Currently our specialities include; Orthopaedics Vascular General Macs Facs ENT Pain Ophthalmology Endoscopy Plastics Neurosurgery and Urology.

The annual salary range for full time ANUM AUD $107462 $110966 super entitlements depending on registration type year level and position (prorated for parttime).
