Job Description
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Albuquerque NM. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set encompassing various aspects of commercial construction building maintenance and vehicle maintenance. This role requires occasional travel for which a company vehicle will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and structural components.
- Conduct repairs and upkeep of company vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and address maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inspections and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the planning and of facility upgrades or renovations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction building maintenance or a related field.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and basic automotive repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as necessary.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for workrelated assignments.
