Job Description
- Drive enterprise level Performance Test Strategy for a wide range of applications spanning across technologies
- We are seeking a skilled and proactive Manual & Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic QA team.
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of handson experience in Manual and Performance testing.
- Min 2 years of experience in Performance Testing tools like Jmeter Loadrunner etc.
Key responsibilities
- Perform manual & performance testing of the software products/applications on multiple platforms.
- Create Performance Test Scripts Prepare Test Data Workload Models and help business in writing NFRs.
- Execute Performance Tests Analyse Performance Test Results and provide recommendations Prepare PT Reports and explain to stakeholders
- Design and execute test cases manually based on functional requirements and user stories.
- Work in Agile Model and collaborate with developers business analysts and other team members to identify and resolve software issues.
- Document and track defects in the Test Management Tools like JIRA Azure etc.. ensuring they are reproduced reported and retested.
- Contribute to test planning and strategy ensuring thorough test coverage.
- Ensure timely completion of all testing phases and participate in test case reviews defect reviews and other team activities.
Technical Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in manual & performance testing.
- Min 2 years experience in Performance Testing tools like Jmeter Loadrunner etc.
- Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) defect life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git SVN) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins Bamboo).
- Experience in profiling/ monitoring tools like Jprofiler Newrelic DynaTrace AppDynamics etc to identify and fix CPU Memory and Network bottlenecks.
- Experience with Cloud environments and should be able to Performance test Cloud based applications
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
