Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Trading Architect to lead and oversee the design development and successful endtoend implementation of technology solutions that support our organizations trading operations across various asset classes markets and geographies. This senior technical leadership role will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive architecture that ensures the scalability performance compliance and innovation of our trading systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to align business goals with technology capabilities drive modernization and integration efforts and provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies and market trends. This role will directly impact the optimization of trading platforms systems and processes ensuring that the organizations trading ecosystem is futureready.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture Design and Strategy:

Develop and maintain an enterprisewide architecture strategy for trading operations aligned with organizational goals market requirements and industry best practices.

Define a futureready architectural blueprint that integrates trading platforms risk management systems data analytics and reporting tools.

Lead the design and implementation of solutions that enable seamless across the full trade lifecycle including deal capture risk assessment settlement and reporting.

Architect solutions that meet dynamic market demands focusing on realtime trade and risk visibility.
System Integration and Modernization:

Oversee the integration of trading platforms with enterprise systems including market data providers external exchanges and operational functions such as risk compliance finance and logistics.

Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloudnative and microservicesbased architectures ensuring systems are scalable and flexible.

Ensure tight integration between trading systems and operational functions driving crossfunctional collaboration to meet business and compliance needs.
Innovation and Emerging Technologies:

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as blockchain IoT AI/ML and cloud computing to enhance trading operations optimize performance and drive innovation.

Lead proofofconcept projects to assess and integrate innovative tools and platforms that enhance trading capabilities.

Promote the adoption of cloud computing containerization and serverless architectures to ensure flexibility scalability and costefficiency in the trading ecosystem.
Scalability Performance and Data Management:

Design scalable and modular architectures to support growth in trading volumes the addition of new asset classes and market expansions.

Establish a unified data architecture to manage and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured trading data ensuring data consistency governance and security across the trading ecosystem.

Enable advanced analytics capabilities including machine learning models for predictive insights and algorithmic trading leveraging big data technologies.
Standards Frameworks and Governance:

Lead the adoption of standardized frameworks tools and best practices across all trading systems to ensure consistency efficiency and reliability.

Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure data quality consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Act as a key advisor to both business and IT leaders aligning technology decisions with strategic business goals and objectives.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with trading operations and compliance teams to gather requirements and ensure that technical solutions are fitforpurpose.

Work with senior leadership to define and prioritize technology investments that align with business needs and market trends.

Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to the broader team ensuring that technology decisions support the broader vision of the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
-
Proven expertise in ETRM systems (e.g. Openlink Allegro Triple Point Aspect Endur) and experience in designing enterprisewide trading system architectures.

Strong knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS and Azure for hosting trading applications and data platforms.
-
Experience with microservices architecture containerization serverless architectures and data integration (ETL/ELT pipelines master data management (MDM).

Proficiency in designing realtime systems trade and risk management solutions across asset classes.
-
Indepth understanding of data analytics including machine learning models predictive insights and algorithmic trading.
-
Expertise in emerging technologies such as blockchain AI/ML and IoT as applied to trading operations.
Industry Knowledge:
-
Strong understanding of energy trading commodity trading and financial markets including regulations (e.g. MiFID II DoddFrank EMIR).
-
Deep knowledge of trading operations (deal capture settlement risk management compliance) and supporting functions such as finance and logistics.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 710 years of experience in the ETRM and trading domain with at least 35 years in an enterprise architect or leadership role.

Proven experience in endtoend implementation of trading solutions including legacy system modernization cloud migration and realtime trade .

Track record of leading teams through the integration of cloudnative platforms market data sources and external exchanges.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business value.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Finance or a related field.
