In this dynamic position you ll utilize cuttingedge pharmacy management systems to ensure patients maintain their medication schedules while providing compassionate support and clear communication. Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive outreach calls to patients regarding prescription refills and medication management
- Navigate pharmacy management software to track and process prescription refill requests
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure smooth prescription processing
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and followup requirements
- Identify and resolve potential prescription issues before they impact patient care
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Schedule and coordinate prescription pickup or delivery times
- Document all communication in the pharmacy management system
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in pharmacy management software systems
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Strong recordkeeping and documentation skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or pharmacyrelated customer service
