Job Description
Job Summary
The Operational Engineer is responsible for monitoring the operational status of the mechanical systems and responding to all types of service calls at CMIs customer site in Chicago Illinois.
Key Job Functions
- Perform maintenance troubleshooting diagnoses and repairs to facilities equipment fixtures and property
- Troubleshoot/diagnose and correct infrastructure problems with facilities equipment and property
- Safely and effectively perform minor and /or skilled maintenance tasks on customer facilities property fixtures electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair projects and processing work orders
- Review project completion to ensure compliance with building standards and to ensure that work meets customer satisfaction
- Maintain records and prepare required reports
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- At least 3 years of recent (within the past 5 years) experience in the maintenance repair installation and inspection of mechanical systems and equipment within a federal facility of at least 300000 square feet
- Active Professional or Structural Engineering license for the state of IL is required
- Must be able to fluently read write speak and understand the English language
