Job Summary
The Project Facility Manager shall provide oversite of all operations and maintenance work and will manage the overall coordination of services and performance at CMIs customer site in Chicago Illinois.
Key Job Functions
- Shall have the authority to accept inspection reports and all other correspondence on behalf of the company
- Responsible for the management and scheduling of work to be performed at the customer site
- Responsible for overseeing all repairs and testing necessary to maintain all mechanical electrical utility interior and exterior systems in a fully operational mode at all times except for scheduled downtime including all labor parts and materials.
- Services of responsibility include but are not limited to overseeing the operation of all heating ventilation and airconditioning (HVAC) equipment; building computer systems (such as lights HVAC); electrical systems (medium and low voltage); plumbing; elevators; and loading dock equipment.
- Responsible for meeting the cost performance and schedule requirements throughout the contract and mange service requests emergencies projects etc.
- Responsible for inspecting preventive maintenance procedures identifying inadequate performance and training or retraining personnel on proper procedures and ensuring that the education and training manual is updated monthly
- Oversee the operations staffing and performance ensuring facility services are delivered that meet or exceed customer guidelines in a high quality cost effective and timely manner
- Actively participate in capital improvement plans and projects and assists with the coordination of daytoday operations and client customers
- Oversee or manage the activities of subcontractors maintenance contracts and personnel to ensure that the worked performed meets or exceeds client expectations
- Measure and evaluate productivity and quality set standards measure performance and develop programs for improvement
- Partner with vendors to insure a reliable costeffective source of supplies parts and equipment to meet all deliverables
- Ensure any required corrective action complies with contract performance
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience in managing personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems equipment within a federal facility of at least 300k square feet
- Project Management Professional through Project Management Institute is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to fluently read write speak and understand the English language
