Job Description

Were recruiting for aDistribution Manager to be part of the team responsible for the delivery of L&G Asset Managements strategic growth ambitions in relation to Global Financial Institutions (GFI). The role holder will be responsible for expanding the distribution of L&G Asset Management products across both public and private markets and both active and passive capabilities working closely in partnership with regional Distribution teams and asset class specialists.

  • Coordinating the relationships with GFIs across all markets in partnership with regional teams
  • Facilitating growth of overall global AuM/ANNR/revenue with GFIs
  • Leading the cross team agreement of Global Action Plan for GFI clients in terms of what we are trying to achieve per GFI across all markets. Including the organisational mapping and coverage plans of a defined list of GFIs
  • Working with LGIM regional client teams in positioning L&G as a real partner to top priority GFIs and working with centralised fund selection teams to help input to global action plan for fund referencing/approvals
  • Ensuring market readiness of bestinclass capabilities working in partnership with regional teams to understand local product needs (share classes registrations etc.
  • Working with global functional teams (i.e. product investments marketing etc. to build out requirements for the GFI channel and client positioning/core sales messages for GFI channel funnelling insights from regional teams
  • Assisting with the coordination of CSuite/senior level interactions and key client summits
  • Requesting updates and information on local client trends for consolidated reporting and management of overall priorities (global strategic planning competitive issues etc)

Qualifications :

Who were looking for:

 

  • Degree qualified and/or professional qualifications e.g. CFA FIA preferred (but not required)
  • Knowledge of financial markets asset management and global financial institutions
  • Experience dealing with global financial institution clients or sophisticated wealth clients
  • Track record of working as part of a senior team and with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Technical understanding of different fund structures
  • Ability to field demanding questions from technically competent clients and their consultants
  • Comfort training and educating clients and using such opportunities to contribute towards business development
