Payroll Analyst
Hybrid 23 days week.
Job Description Summary
The primary functions of the Payroll Analyst at Hana Group US will be to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in coordination with our payroll processing outsourcer and manage the payroll reconciliation. The Payroll Analyst will not process payroll directly but will manage payroll reconciliation ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities
Payroll Coordination
o Main contact for our external payroll outsources company for any directions questions and/or issues
o Oversee payroll transactions that are performed by the outsourced company
o Serve as a liaison between the outsourced payroll provide HR team managers and employees for any payroll related queries and/or issues
o Knowledge on garnishment setup and understanding time & attendance processing in Paylocity
o Coordinate workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Payroll Reconciliation
o Perform detailed payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
o Analyze compensation related data including wages tax and bonuses and work with the other team member in accounting team to verify identify and rectify payroll data against financial records
o Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records to identify issues and resolves them quickly
Compliance & Reporting
o Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations
o Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audit purposes
o Generate and distribute payroll reports to relevant stakeholders
o Effectively communicate with management and employees regarding payroll items

Qualifications :
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting Business Administration Human Resources or related field required.
Minimum of 3 years experience with payroll processes required
Knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
Hands on experience with payroll software (paylocity) and HCM cloud
Working knowledge of and ability to use software such as Word Excel and Outlook with a high level of skill in Excel.
The ability to work under tight deadlines work independently have a high level of discretion and exercise good judgement.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
