Job Description
Position Summary: Senior Hard Surface Artist
- As the Sr. Hard Surface Artist you will be responsible for creating worldclass assets for a wide variety of game genres and styles.
- Collaborate and communicate with other Artists Animators Designers to help develop worldclass CrossPlay centric games.
- Contract 100 Remote position. We are an Unreal studio.
Requirements:
- Work closely with the Art Director and Leads as they establish the visual/technical direction for Weapon and Vehicle assets needed for our games.
- Adhere to best practices and workflows that have been established for the team help improve them as needed and mentor others as needed.
- Faithfully create models texture and materials that are based on approved concepts from the Art Director.
- Collaborate with Tech Artists and Tech Animators to implement and test related weapon/vehicle rigs and animations within UE5.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Art Architecture or Design.
- 5 years experience as a Hard Surface Artist on a AAA PC and/or console game.
- Portfolio of work that demonstrates your talent for creating weapons and vehicles that are visually exceptional and believable along with your understanding of different design parameters that govern the spectrum of weapon/props and vehicle classes.
- Expert hard surface modeling and material definition skills.
- Meticulous ability to optimize assets for functionality and performance for realtime applications.
- Experience creating modular weapon/prop/vehicle assets that are ready to be rigged for animation/dynamic systems.
- Expertise in Maya/Fusion 360 Substance Photoshop and ZBrush.
- Proficiency with Jira and Perforce.
Portfolio Requirements:
A portfolio of work that represents your talent skills and artistic style is required.
