Job Description
Science Teacher Sixth Form College Birmingham
An Outstanding sixthform college in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and skilled Science Teacher to join their Science department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching Key Stage 5 (with potential for Key Stage 4 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate).
Science TeacherResponsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality Science lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department.
- Be part of an Outstanding team.
Science TeacherRequirements:
- Qualified Science Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Science or a closely related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary or post16 level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The desire to work as a Science Teacher.
