Job Description
Food Teacher Sixth Form College Birmingham
An Outstanding sixthform college in Birmingham requires a creative and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their department. This is a fulltime permanent Food Teacherposition teaching Key Stage 5.
Food TeacherResponsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality Food Technology lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Food Technology department.
- Be part of an Outstanding team.
Food TeacherRequirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Food Technology Home Economics or a closely related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary or post16 level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The desire to work as a Food Teacher.
