JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirement Elicitation & Scope Definition: Gather detailed business requirements for the payment platform define the project scope and develop comprehensive documentation including use cases user stories and flow diagrams that specify the functional and nonfunctional aspects of the platform.
EndtoEnd Solution Design: Work closely with solution architects developers and UX designers to design the platforms workflows ensuring seamless integration with banks payment gateways fraud detection systems and user interfaces.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that the platform complies with industry regulations (e.g. PCIDSS PSD2 and internal security policies. Identify potential risks establish mitigation plans and coordinate with legal and compliance teams to maintain the platforms security and integrity.
Write clear and concise user stories acceptance criteria and prioritize tasks in collaboration with the Product Owner focusing on payment flows transaction processing refund/chargeback handling and currency conversion.
Ensure the product backlog is wellmaintained prioritized and refined to align with payment gateway business requirements compliance standards and technical constraints.
Promote adherence to Agile principles and practices guiding the team to improve delivery and maintain consistent velocity with special attention to optimizing payment flows and resolving gatewayrelated issues.
Identify track and remove obstacles that may block the team from achieving sprint goals specifically addressing issues in payment processing transaction speed and failure/error handling.
Serve as the point of contact between the development team business stakeholders and payment gateway providers ensuring clear communication on project status risks and business needs related to payments.
Track and report on team performance using Agile metrics like velocity burndown charts and sprint goal achievement ensuring continuous improvement in the development and integration of payment systems.
Assist in coordinating and validating user acceptance testing ensuring that paymentrelated business requirements including successful transaction processing and security compliance are met.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives helping the team identify areas for improving payment system performance and scalability.
PRIMARY SKILLS
35 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Scrum Master in Agile environments with at least 2 years focusing on payment gateway systems (e.g. Stripe PayPal Razorpay).
Agile Methodology & Project Management: Proficiency in Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum Kanban) to effectively manage the project lifecycle prioritize tasks and facilitate communication between development testing and operations teams.
Payment workflow Knowledge: Understanding of endtoend payment system workflows architecture including integration with banks payment gateways APIs and thirdparty services. This includes knowledge of transaction processing settlement and reconciliation.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Trello).
Excellent facilitation communication and interpersonal skills especially in the context of payment solutions.
Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities particularly in fastpaced payment environments.
SECONDARY SKILLS (IF ANY)
Experience with business process modeling and workflows specifically related to payments and financial transactions.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical project management in payment systems.
Experience in working with crossfunctional and remote teams.
Knowledge of various Agile frameworks like Kanban or Lean is a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED (IF ANY)
Scrum Master certification (CSM PSM) is highly desirable.
