Job Description
Our client is seeking motivated individuals for the Sales Promotion/Customer Service Awareness Associate position at the Post Exchange on Fort Cavazos TX (Fort Hood). This role is ideal for military spouses veterans military dependents reservists and jobseekers in the surrounding areas. The position starts as a 6month contract with the potential for an indefinite extension. Selected candidates will undergo a 6week paid training program including 2 weeks of travel to prepare for success in this customerfacing role. The hiring event will be happening on March 31 2025.
Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to promote sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication.
Actively listen to customer needs and demonstrate empathy.
Work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment at the Base Exchange.
Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with customers.
Requirements
Must Haves:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong empathy and active listening abilities.
Comfortable speaking with people in a customerfacing role.
Ability to work onsite at Fort Cavazos TX (Fort Hood).
Must be available for a 6week paid training program (including 2 travel weeks).
Preference for military spouses veterans military dependents reservists or jobseekers.
Nice to Haves:
Previous experience in sales promotions or customer service.
Ability to adapt to a fastpaced environment.

Salary: $27 per hour $56160 annually)
Benefits
Education: Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a sales representative role; oil industry experience is highly preferred. Sales Skills: Proven track record as a hunter in sales with the ability to consistently drive new business. Pressure Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment with a strong desire to win. Travel Flexibility: Comfortable with regular travel within the territory, often exceeding 50 of the time, to meet prospective and established customers. Additional Details: Remote Work: 100 remote with a required residence in the Northeast U.S. (preferably in CT, MA, or ME). Travel Reimbursement: Car travel reimbursed at the federal mileage rate.
