QA Test Automation Engineer Playwright or Cypress - Portfolio Brands

WHAT YOULL DO

We are currently in the process of recruiting Test Engineers to be part of our Solution Foundation team supporting our Portfolio Brands unit. In this role you will play an instrumental part in enhancing our organizations test agility by providing necessary capabilities and support and will be working on our ecommerce websites for our brands such as COS Weekday Arket & Other Stories.

Some of your responsibilities will include:  

• Contribute to the automation test strategy for Portfolio Brands
• Enabling seamless test automation efficient test management and reliable test data management of our ecommerce solutions
• Experience in writing automated test cases and executing them on UI API and Events.
• Providing high availability techagnostic support and business valuedriven services to our Portfolio Brand Team within the organization. 
• Testing our inhouse mainly on frontend and backend for frontend systems. We also work with vendor ecommerce solutions.
• Exploring opportunities to improve and contribute to crossteam and organizational enhancements.
• Creation of proper test documentation

WHO YOULL WORK WITH

As an Automation Test Engineer within the Portfolio Brands unit you will work on testing our ecommerce websites and solutions (both inhouse and external ones). Joining as a Test Automation Engineer you can expect to work on test automation on both the frontend and backend side of our ecommerce solutions. Your contributions will essentially empower our Portfolio Brands Team to execute efficient delivery of highquality products. Automated testing will include UA API and Event testing.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with

• 4 5 years of experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/ TypeScript as a programming language.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Other tools and frameworks that we use are Browserstack Jira Confluence GitHub API with REST Assured Postman GraphQL QMetry and continuous integration tools (e.g. GitHub Actions Travis CI) and Appium
• Knowledge of ecommerce domain
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Vast test engineering expertise including performance integration exploratory and automation testing great knowledge of testing methods
• Create test plans test cases and automation scripts for UI API and endtoend testing
• Analytical and problemsolving skills to diagnose issues ability to reach out to correct stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Good to have:

• Practical knowledge of GraphQL SQL SAP
• Knowledge about our Centra (ecommerce platform) and Ingrid (Delivery Platform)
