Job Description
Pay Rate: $20.00 to a maximum of $25.00 Per Hour.
Position Purpose: IT Internship
Internships at Veolia: Gain handson experience in at least one career function from Corporate Engineering Maintenance Manufacturing Operations Sales Supply Chain or Technology.
Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain handson experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They will work on realworld projects receive mentorship from industry professionals and participate in workshops and networking events. The program aims to nurture talent promote innovation and foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals. Overall the SEED program provides students with the skills knowledge and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry.
Program Dates: June 2 2025 to August 22 2025.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- As a Cloud Engineering and Operations Intern you will be responsible for executing tasks related to functional projects and process improvements. This may include:
- Developing and deploying cloud infrastructure using AWS services
- Implementing monitoring and logging tools
- Automating processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Internships are focused on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures.
Qualifications :
Education/Experience/Background:
- Working towards a four year degree and you have Senior status in Computer Science or a related major.
- 3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication skills including written verbal listening presentation and facilitation skills / Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.
Physical Requirements:
- Environments vary by internship function from office to field to plant. Our aim is to provide tangible industry job experience to each intern. While we may extend offers to some interns there is no guarantee of a job offer at the end of the internship.
